Overview:

 We are currently seeking qualified applicants for a Foreign Travel Management System Analyst.  The Foreign Travel Management System Analyst will be the main point of contact for the ORNL Site for all foreign travel requirements and other travel manager approvals.

 Major Duties/Responsibilities: 

  •  Review and approve all foreign travel in the ORNL FTMS, assisting the requestors with all required data
  • Review, input, and approve all foreign travel in the DOE FTMS
  • Modify and archive DOE FTMS accounts for ORNL site
  • Update traveler profiles
  • Provide training to individuals, groups, and direcotrates as needed to use ORNL FTMS
  • Communicate all Foreign Travel Requirement changes to management and travel population
  • Ensure that all policies in the Standards-Based Management System (SBMS) are current and in accordance with DOE requirements
  • Point of contact between ORNL and Oak Ridge Operations Site Office and DOE Headquarters concerning foreign travel requirements
  • Provide required foreign travel reporting
  • Review and approve lodging exceptions and mileage request

 

Qualifications Required: 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 2 years experience

 

Qualifications Desired: 

  • Foreign travel processing experience
  • Deductive reasoning analytical skills
  • SAP, Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal
  • Ability to work with diverse customer group (management, travelers, admins, vendors)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and to participate creatively in collaborative teams across the laboratory

 

 Special Requirement:

This position requires the abilitye to obtain maintain a clearance from the Department of Energy.  As such, this position is a Workplace Substance Abuse (WSAP) testing designated position.  WASP positions require passing a pre-placement drug test and participation in an ongoing random drug testing program.
