Overview:
We are seeking an Institutional Performance Analysis and Reporting Strategist who will focus on standardization of data analytics and reporting mythologies within Contractor Assurance System (CAS) functions, forums, and deliverables. This position resides in the Contractor Assurance group in the Office of Integrated Performance Management within the Laboratory Directors Office, at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).

Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for institutional performance analysis and reporting at ORNL
- Covering adverse trending analysis, Key Performance Indicator development, Key Risk Indicator development, Institutional Performance Dashboards, Laboratory Scorecards, Adhoc data requests in event response and leadership needs, standardization and automation of performance reporting for CAS Trimester and Monthly Operations Summary.
- This role will work closely with Information Technology - Business Intelligence group to help define laboratory data strategy, data integrations, and data reporting standards.
- The intended goal is to confidently articulate the laboratories health and performance; proactively identify adverse operational trends, providing leadership with accurate data, and developing a methodology for predictive analytics within the operational realm.

Basic Qualifications:
- A B.S., M.S., or MBA in General Business, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Social Science Research, or a related and commensurate discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with a B.S. or 12 Years of experience with advanced degree.
- Data analysis and visualization experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI or advanced visualizations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and to participate creatively in collaborative teams across the laboratory.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced research environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever changing needs.
Special Requirements:
Q Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance from the Department of Energy. As such, this position is a Workplace Substance Abuse (WSAP) testing designated position. WSAP positions require passing a pre-placement drug test and participation in an ongoing random drug testing program.
