You should possess a strong background in design, development, or laboratory testing of HVAC&R equipment.  Knowledge of how HVAC&R systems are installed and operated in the field is also desirable.  Expertise in any of the following areas is of particular interest: (a) thermodynamics, (b) instrumentation (e.g., thermocouples, RTDs, power meters, pressure transducers, etc.), and (c) capacity and efficiency testing of HVAC&R equipment.

You should have the demonstrated ability to work within a team of engineers and technicians to successfully design, build and evaluate advanced building equipment and energy conversion systems.  Excellent communication skills (oral and written), as well as strong interpersonal skills to support team building, partnering, and leadership are required.
